PAULA MAUBOULES DOUCET

FOLLOWING MY HEART
I left HJ my junior year to follow my future husband to Florida. I actually graduated from King High in Tampa, but I will always call HJ home. We lived in Florida until 1993 when we moved back to Texas. We currently live in Bryan, Texas (Texas A&M country).

HIGH TECH AVON LADY

These days, I work for Hospice Brazos Valley as an Adminstrative Assistant. I do payroll, AP, AR, special projects and am coordinator of our resale stores. I just recently became an AVON representative which I love. Visit my site at www.youravon.com/pdoucet.

STILL IN LOVE & DREAMS OF HAWAII

I am proud to say my marriage to Keith Doucet (HJ Class of 1984) has lasted for over 20 years. I am still as much in love with him as the day I met him. Keith works with his brother at a company called Dominion Lasercom--a laser communications company. With the 3 boys almost grown and out of the house, I am looking forward to doing some traveling. Keith and I have always dreamed of going to Hawaii.

MY THREE SONS
Matthew, 20, is going to Blinn College and plans to transfer to A&M and major in engineering. He works with my husband at Dominion Lasercom. He is getting married on May 13th.

Joseph, 18, will graduate Bryan High on May 27th. He is currently a Assistant Service Manager at HEB. He plans to attend Blinn and then transfer to A&M.

Timothy, 16, is a Junior at Bryan High. His dream is to be a chef which by looking at him you would never believe. He has an afro that people especially small children are just mesmerized by. He recently was at a restaurant with his girlfriend's family and another group celebrating a birthday asked if he would take a picture with them. People are always asking to touch it and how does he take care of it.

MY TWO DOGS
We have two miniature schnauzers, Gracie and Alex (short for Alexandria). They are our children as well.

BROTHER JERRY & RETIRING MOM
My brother, Jerry, lives in Houston. My mom, Juanita Boyd, still lives in Sour Lake and just recently retired from the doctor's office she worked for. Many of you may remember that she was the school secretary and then the school's registrar.

ADVENTUROUS LIFE IN FLORIDA
Even though hurricanes came across Florida almost every summer while we were living there, I never knew unless I got a phone call from my dad asking if we were surviving. I didn't have time to watch the weather --I was busy keeping an eye on my three boys.

ON BEING A GRANDMA
Can y'all believe that I will be a grandma in September? I am really looking forward to spoiling my grandbaby and then sending him home.
